According to Kanoon General Directorate Public Relations and International Affairs, “Black &White”, a Kanoon production, with other six animations from Iran are going to be screened at various sections of the festival.

A number of 2565 animations from 93 countries have participated in SICAF out of which 103 animations from 28 countries are screened in contest section.

 “Black & White” is supposed to compete with animations from Germany, Italy, China, Russia, Taiwan, France, Argentina, USA, Spain, South Korea and Canada.

There are various sections such as feature films, short films, student films, SICAF kids, SICAF Online & Commissioned, and Special Competition in Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival. 

Short animation, “Eaten” by Mohsen Rezapour, and “Son of the Sea” by Abbas Jalali Yekta both produced at Center for Documentary and Experimental Cinema are going to be screened in contest section of children and adolescent films.

The festival hosts four other animations from Iran: “Mr. Deer” by Mojtaba Mousavi, “Hunter Rabbit” by Mohammad Amin Kamali in short animation contest section.

 “Black Monster” by Reyhaneh Kavosh and Ali Raees, “Incomplete” by Orafa Parspour are screened in children film contest section of the festival.

SICAF begins on Wednesday, 17 July and ends on Sunday, 21 July 2019 in Seoul, South Korea.
