Two Kanoon Animations Reached Esfahan Film Festival for Children and Youth

“The Dog that Was Sick” directed by Parvin Tajvid and “Golden Topknot” directed by Mahin Javeherian produced by Kanoon reached 32nd Esfahan International Film Festival for Children and Youth

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the selecting board for this round of festival includes: Jamal Omid, Mohammad Hamidi Moghadam, Raed Faridzadeh, Farzad Ajdari, Hamed Soleimanzadeh introduced these two animations along with ten more were introduced to the national section.

 Short animation “The Dog that was Sick” made with two-dimensional technique is the story of a dog getting sick because he eats everything. When vets try to cure him, they notice he has eaten so many things. After taking all those things out of his stomach, he, again, eats them all…

Another animation by Kanoon, “Golden Topknot” is a six- minute film produced by computer cutout technique. Afsaneh Shaaban Nejad has versed the songs.

The 32nd International Film Festival for Children and Youth is held from 19th to 26 August 2019 in Esfahan.
