“Cycling Wind” Made its Way to Ukraine Film Festival

“Cycling Wind”, an animation directed by Nazanin Sobhan Sarbandi is admitted to the competition section of 12th DYTIATKO Children International Film Festival, Ukraine.

According to Kanoon General Directorate, more than 1500 films had been sent to the festival. 235 films and TV shows from Iran, France, Britain, Spain, Malaysia, Italy, Mexico, Germany, Ukraine, the Philippines, Canada, Belgium, Russia, India, Japan, Slovakia, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Argentina, Denmark, Vietnam, Nepal, United States, Holland, Uruguay, Greece, Armenia, Croatia, Turkey, Brazil, Egypt, and Serbia will compete.

Based on this, the six-minute animation “Cycling Wind” Kanoon production in 2019 is supposed to be screened on September 5th 2020 in the competition section of the Ukraine International Children Film Festival.  

This short animation is the story of a young wind who owns a bicycle. Without using much energy, he moves to any direction freely and enjoys the ride. Most importantly, it is the only bicycle that has such a device. This freedom and power gives his a chance to do whatever it likes.

DYTIATKO International Children Film Festival cooperates with organizations like CIFEJ (International Film Organization for Children and Adolescents).

According to the news, this festival is held with the goal of discovering and supporting children and adolescents films and improving the level of professional Television productions with a focus on children.

It should be reminded that last year, “Doch”, a feature movie directed by Amir Mashhadi Abbas participated in DYTIATKO as the representative of Kanoon.

12th DYTIATKO International Children Film Festival is held from Sept 2nd to Sept 5th 2020 in Kharkov, Ukraine.
