Technical Stages of the "Sprayer", Kanoon Animation Are Over

The production of "Sprayer", an animation directed by Farnoosh Abedi and produced by Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, has been completed while the environmental concern of the creator, with a view to the planet's climate change, has formed its main structure.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Sprayer” was formed due to a photo, Abedi says. Abedi said that seven years ago the blue print of “Sprayer” formed by an image of a strange and horrific soldier; a soldier with a mask, a concept or idea in video games or Sci-Fi films but with a different approach.

About the formation of the animation, he explained that using masks is usually to prevent a virus or an unknown dangerous invader; but what if the story is completely different and vice versa. I mean this time it is the harmless plants and an unusual mission of this masked army carrying containers of poisonous gas.

About the technique used to produce the animation, the director of the animation said, “We were trying to mix the property and visual-artistic characteristics of a good stop motion with computer three dimension; a hard and impossible job…practically we were after facilities and ease of 3D but with visual-artistic qualities of stop motion. Finally, we could reach satisfactory outcome in our previous work “Malakout” four years ago; of course, we tried to level up it in “Sprayer”.

Based on the news, this animation is nine minutes. With the completion of technical stages of “Sprayer”, the teaser of this work is officially published.
