“Amazing Crow and Sparrow” Attending Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema, France

The collection of “Amazing Crow and Sparrow” includes three short animation by Kanoon is going to be displayed at adolescents section, Vesoul Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the collection entitled “Amazing Crow and Sparrow” is going to be displayed on Wed 2nd of Feb, 2022 at 28th Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema, at Franciosi Theater Hall. 

This forty-five-minute collection includes three short animations entitled “A ragen who wanted to be the most powerfull” directed by Mohammad Ali Soleymanzadeh produced in 1998; “Once a crow…” directed by Abdollah Alimorad produced in 2005; and “The sparrow and the boll” directed by Morteza Ahadi produced in 2006.

This collection is suitable for children above three screened at France movie halls on Sept 9, 2020.

“Parvana, the Breadwinner”, a 104-minute feature animation jointly produced by Afghanistan and Ireland; “Veins of the World”, a 96-minute fiction by Mongolia; “My Neihbor, Totoro”, an 86-minute animation by Japan are displayed at adolescents section. 

Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema is one of the earliest film festivals in France focusing on films from Asia. Films selected for the competition section of this period are judged with Leila Hatami as the president of the festival. 

It must be reminded that the three short animations have won many awards at various national and international festivals. 

The 28th Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema is going to be held from Feb 1 to 8, 2022 in Vesoul, France.
