According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the jury of the competition section of short films, video and animation of The First International ISAAR Festival (film and screenplay) announced 42 films to attend at two sections of main competition and special documentary.

The jury, Mohammad Reza Arab, Javad Mazabadi, Ali Nouri Oskouei, selected 49 works to participate at festival main and special sections out of 257 works sent to the secretariate of the festival including 55 videos, 99 short films, and 103 animations.

Based on this, “The Sprayer” directed by Farnoush Abedi; “The Lovely Sky” directed by Amir Hossein Mehran and “The Playground” by Samaneh Fazllolah Asadi all produced by Kanoon made way to the animation section of this art event.

The final stage of The First International ISAAR Festival (film and screenplay) is going to be held with Farhad Mokhatri as the festival secretary from May 18 to 24, 2023 by The General Department of Artistic Affairs of the Cultural and Educational Vice-Chancellor of Martyrs Foundation in cooperation with Mashhad Municipality and Khorasan Razavi Governorate in holy Mashhad.
