According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this festival is one of the most well-known international animation festivals in Italy.

This year, in the competition section of Cartoon Club, animations by professional directors and animations by Italian and foreign companies and studios that display a general picture of the growing process of animation industry and the progress in animation techniques were selected.

Based on this, “Being Ten” directed by Fatemeh Jafari, “The Lovely Sky” directed by Amir Mehran, and “The Sprayer” directed by Farnoush Abedi, all three produced by Kanoon, had participated in this festival.

“The Lovely Sky” is a drama about war. It is fourteen minutes and ten seconds.

Cartoon Club is an animation festival that started its work in 1995. A year later it was held internationally.

With more than 300 short animations from fifty countries, this festival has turned into a major event. It presents various awards to the best short animations from all over the world with the presence of hundreds of guests from Italy and other countries.

The 39th round of international animation festival of Cartoon Club was held from 10 to 16 July 2023 in Rimini, Italy.
