According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Being Ten” will be screened in a seventy-two-minute collection for the audience above 14.
Based on this news, “Being Ten”, an eighteen-minute animation, is supposed to compete with other animations in its group to receive the audience vote.
This animation is produced at Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon) and has participated at the competition section of many festivals.
“Being Ten” is the story of a father and a son living in a hut in a deserted area of a thick jungle. The father is a hunter. One day, to entertain his son, he brings him a live hunt. At the beginning, the hunt is like a toy for the boy, but later it causes a great change in the boy’s life.
Based on this, the festival priority for selecting goes to the works that give bold, surprising and innovative solutions; the works that have pictured the outstanding applications of traditional techniques by choosing interesting themes.
