“Being Ten” was displayed in Brazil Family Film Festival

“Being Ten” directed by Fatemeh Jafari was shown at the international section of Brazil Family Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this successful animation was screened with six other films from The Netherlands, Columbia, Switzerland, Italy, The People's Republic of China, and Portugal in Brazil Family Film Festival. 

18-minute animation Being Ten” is about a boy living with his father in a faraway jungle. One day, the boy’s father traps a duck to end his son’s loneliness. The boy and the duck come to know each other gradually until unwanted events change the boy’s views towards the world surrounding him.

Family Film Festival awards the winners in two sections of national and international.

Next to producers and filmmakers attending the festival, holding workshops, discussing and dialog sessions with guests are the most important side programs of this festival. 

The 7th Family Film Festival was held 22 to 25 August 2024 in Brazil.
