Two Kanoon Animations, “Being Ten” and “Successor”, made way to China Film Festival.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Being Ten” directed by Fatemeh Jafari and “Successor” directed by Abdollah Alimorad are participating at the competition section of the 13th China International New Media Short Film Festival (CSFF).

This festival started working in 2010. It is the only national short film festival in China that is funded and supported by the National Radio and Television and the municipality of Shenzhen.

Valuable cash prizes are awarded to the winners of each category to support the artists of each section, including the "King Boon" prize of 300,000 yuan for the best short film, a prize of 100,000 yuan for the best fiction, a prize of 100,000 yuan for the best short documentary, and a prize of 100,000 yuan for the best short animation. Every year, the festival aims to encourage the production of fine and new short films around the world. The event will be held to support young talents in cinema and television, develop creative high-quality film and television projects, facilitate the integration and development of the film industry, and to improve international communication between short film directors.
