Four Kanoon Books Published in Chinese

Four Kanoon books are published and sent to China publishing market. The copyright had already been assigned to the Chinese publisher.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Bird, Boy, Train” written by Ahmad Reza Ahmadi and illustrated by Rashin Kheirieh; “It was the Moon and the Fox” , “Kind Sara”, and “I’m Scared”, all three written and illustrated by Anahita Teimourian are the books published in Chinese.

The four books are published by CNPIC Digital Printing, Beijing and with the cooperation of Kia Agency from Iran and YOUBOOK Agency from China.

Kanoon published “Bird, Boy, Train” in 2015 and then it was sent to the market in English and as audio book. It is the story of a little boy who has lost his bird in a train and it is so many days that  he is looking for his bird…

 “It was the Moon and the Fox” was first published in 2000. Later it was translated into English, Turkish (Turkey) and Azari. Babak Nazari made an animation based on the book that received many awards.

The book was nominated for Octagonal Award by France International Center for Studying Children and Adolescents Literature. It is about the story of a fox who loves the moon. One night he decides to climb the mountain, pick the moon off the sky, and take it to his nest…

The story of “Kind Sara” was first published in 2014. It is about Sara and her doll who is lying at the corner of the yard and staring at the sun. This book has also been published in English.

“I’m Scared” was published for the first time in 2010. It is published in Chinese now.

It should be mentioned that the negotiation between Kia Literature Agency and You Book Agency for selling copyright of these books  was done Beijing International Book Fair in 2017. The books are published in Chinese  with the support of Grant Secretariat Project in Iran.
