According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the eleven-minute animation “Crab” along with some other short films was screened on November 15, 2020 at 16:30 at the movie theater with following hygiene protocols.

“Crab” is Kanoon production in 2019 experiencing its ninth presence in Zinebi-Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Film.

This festival is one of credited festivals in Europe on documentaries and short films that has the standards of the Oscars, BAFTA, Goya, and is approved by Fédération Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films (FIPF).  Every year the winner of the grand prize of this festival is introduced to the Oscars.

Kanoon had already participated in this festival with “Butterfly” directed by Maryam Khalilzadeh in 2018 and “Grandfather” directed by Shiva Sadegh Asadi in 2016 which was the only Iranian film entering the 58th round of this festival.

Shiva Sadegh Asadi is the director and producer of “Maned & Macho” that managed to enter the official section of short films of this festival.

The 62nd Edition of Zinebi - Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Film, is held in Bilbao, Spain, from November 13 to 20, 2020.
