According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this film was screened online with nine other short films from Poland, France, Canada, Germany, England and Switzerland in an eighty-four minute program in the second group of competition section on 2nd and 5th December, 2020.

“Carb”, an eleven-minute animation, is a Kanoon production in 2019 experiencing its 12th international presence. 

It is the story of a shy and isolated boy who is interested in joining the school theater group. However, the only role offered to him is the role of a carb.

Due to the pandemic, Montreal Festival organizers display all films virtually for safety reasons. The public screening of participating films is postponed to next spring at movie theaters.
