According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, “Crab”, in its twentieth international attendance,  is screened with five films from Germany, South Africa, Australia and Switzerland in seventy-eight collection for five times. 

FilmFest Dresden (International Short Film Festival)  is one of the most prestigious festivals in Germany in the domain of short films held in two sections of animation and fiction. The best films receive cash awards.  

More than two thousands films participate at the competition section every year. 37 short fiction films from 29 countries have made way to the main contest section classified in five categories at the international section. It is necessary to mention that the national contest section will be judged separately. 

“Crab” had entered at the contest section of festivals such as Fest Anca International Animation Festival, Slovakia; Anifilm, (International Festival of Animated Film), Czech Republic; Atlanta International Film Festival; Créteil Woman Film Festival, France. 

“Crab” was displayed in  Animatricks International Animation Festival, Finland, which is another achievement for this short animation. 

“Crab” is an eleven-minute animation and Kanoon production in 2019. It is the story of a shy boy who loves to be a member of the school theater group. The only role offered to him is the role of a crab. 

33 FILMFEST DRESDEN (International Short Film Festival) is being held virtually from 13th to 18th July 2021. Festival organizers have reminded that following hygiene protocols must be followed in the movie hall.
