"The Ocean behind the Window” Won Two Awards from Kinulub Film Festival, Poland

“The Ocean behind the Window”, a Kanoon feature film, could win the grand prize for the best picture and special award of the jury of film instructors at 7th International Film Festival for Children and Youth Kinulub, Poland.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, the grand prize for the best picture and the special award by the jury of film instructors of this round of Kinulub International children and Youth Film Festival is given to “The Ocean behind the Window” for its mature poetic outlook, accepting responsibility and bravery in facing poverty, failure and social inequality. “The Ocean behind the Window” is directed by Babak Nabizadeh produced at Kanoon.

The Adult Professional Jury gives the award for the best feature movie, and the Polish Film Owners and Teachers Association give the Special Prize by the Jury of Film Instructors.

7th International Film Festival for Children and Youth Kinulub is held from June 10th to 24th, 2022 in eastern cities of Poland.

 “Ocean Behind Window”, a ninety-one-minute movie, are being displayed together with another feature film called “The Most Strange Girl of the World”, two short films of “Dreams and Dreams” and “Among Strangers” and a collection of documentaries for adolescents above 11.
