According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Kanoon had meetings with publishers from China, Bangladesh, England, France, South Korea, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy for purchasing  and selling copyright of books.

Gallimard Publications from France, Hot Children Group and MacMillan Publications from England, Jung Bruner Publications from Austria are among the publishers Kanoon had meetings with.

In these meetings, information about Kanoon activities, the process of publishing books, the number of the books and the books published along with digital catalogue of Kanoon books were presented.

An important Kanoon policy is to purchase copyright of books from foreign publishers and to establish reliable relationship with them.

Another Kanoon achievement was unveiling three books translated into Turkish at Iran national pavilion. Kanoon participated at Frankfurt book fair with more than 100 new and high-profile books.

Some representatives from Iran Language Institute had some meetings with Hamid Mohammadi, Iran Cultural Advisor in Germany.

More than 7450 publishers from 104 countries had participated in Frankfurt book fair.

About 302267 visitors out of which %47 were professionals and %53 were ordinary people visited the exhibition.
