According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, 1043 animations for the international competition section from 85 countries and 459 works by Iranian artists have been sent to the 12th Tehran International Animation Festival. Based on the news, 1502 works are registered at the 12th round of the biennial since June 29 to November 20, 2020.

Meanwhile, names of certain well-known countries in this domain like Japan, China, France, Austria, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Holland (Netherlands), India, Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Lebanon, Switzerland and Poland, and outstanding companies can be seen on the list.

Based on this, the deadline to send works to National Competition Section and International Competition Section was November 20, 2020.

This festival is held in National and International Competition Section, Out of Competition Section, Special Screening, and Panorama.

It is reminded that Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults holds Tehran International Animation Festival every two years.
