“Crab” Made Way to Atlanta Film Festival

Crab”, the animation directed by Shiva Sadegh Asadi, made way to the 45th Atlanta International Film Festival, USA.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affair, “Crab” is experiencing its 16th international appearance. Kanoon produced this short film in 2019.

“Crab” was screened on April 16, 2021 with some other short films from USA, France, Germany, Qatar, Lebanon, Taiwan, China, Columbia, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.  

Before this, “Crab” participated in the official competition section of GLAS Sixth Animation Festival, California, 2021. 

This eleven-minute animation has competed in several competition sections of international festivals such as  Créteil Woman Film Festival, Montreal Animation Festival, International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Films, Animest International Animation Film Festival, St. Louis International Film Festival, Adelaide International Film Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival,  Hiroshima International Animation Festival, International Animafest, and Shanghai Film Festival. 

Atlanta Film Festival is a prestigious festival in the United States of America and approved by the Academy Awards. More than 9000 films participate in various sections of the festival. 

45th Atlanta International Film Festival was held from April 22 to May 2, 2021 in-person by following hygiene protocols and virtually for the audience in America.
