“Crab” Made Way to the International Section of Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival

The successful animation, “Crab”, made by Shiva Sadegh Asadi made way to the international section of the 19th Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival with Switzerland as initiator.

According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival is a twelve-day festival held every year as a transnational festival simultaneously in eight cities of the five continents all over the world.

This festival is held in Bern: Switzerland capital; Buenos Aires: Argentina capital; Cairo: Egypt capital; Cape Town: South Africa capital; Hong Kong; Moscow: Russia capital; San Jose: Costa Rika capital and the closing ceremony will be held in New York, USA.

The eleven-minute animation, “Crab”, is a Kanoon production. It is the story of a shy and isolated boy who is interested to be a member of school theater group. Although, the only role offered to him is the role of a crab.

Based on this, Shnit Festival could gather more than 35000 filmmaker and film lovers by displaying more than 200 films.

The 19th Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival is being held, from Oct 21 to 31, 2021.
