According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this short film is screened on July 26, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. at Lake Cinema in a fifty-five minute collection with five films from Switzerland, Romania, Taiwan, and France.
“Crab” is directed by Shiva Sadegh Asadi produced at Kanoon Cinematic Affair Center that has recently won the Golden Award of the best film by audience and honorary diploma by the children jury of the 33rd Dresden International Short Film Festival, Germany.
Organizers of the biggest cultural event in Kosovo have announced that contrary to the pandemic and for the sake of the audience to take more benefit of the festival, five international performances are held by world-renowned animators on animation specialized topics.
The art event is held in a combination of in-person and virtual.
Based on this, out of 1400 films sent to the festival, 300 films are selected to be presented at 9 sections; six competition sections including international, student, Balkan region films, animated music video, feature films, and films with human rights as theme. The three other sections include panorama, kids and teens' films, and experimental films.
The film selected by the audience is supposed to receive an award in addition to the winners at six competitive sections.
Based on this, 12th Anibar International Animation Festival is supposed to be held from July 23rd to 31st, 2021 in Peja, Kosovo.
“Crab”, Kanoon successful film, is experiencing its 22nd international attendance.
