According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, 13 short fiction films, 10 short animations, 8 short documentaries and 5 feature-documentaries are invited to the international contest section of the festival.
Meanwhile, 7 films from the host country compete with each other. Among them, “Crab” made by Shiva Sadegh Asadi Kanoon production in 2019 competes with 9 short animations from Taiwan, Russia, Switzerland, Spain, France, Poland, and Estonia.
“Crab” is displayed in a sixty-seven minute program with films like “The Visit” from Iran, “Le Mosche” from Italy, “Dog’s Field” from Poland, “Mir Prekrasen” from Russia, “Sobaki Pakhnut Morem” from Russia, and “Twine” from Taiwan at Scola Theater.
Scola Theater can accommodate 250. On August 7th all films at contest section will be displayed free of charge, either feature or short.
22nd Lucania Film Festival will be held from 7 to 11 August 2021 in Basilicata (new name for Lucania).
