According to Kanoon General Directorate for Public Relations and International Affairs, this artistic event includes six parts: feature animations films contest, short animations, student, music video, Virtual Reality films, and Romanian films.

Short animation “Am I a Wolf?” produced by Kanoon is participating in the contest for short animations where it competes with fifty other animations from all over the world to win an award.

“Animest” Festival is approved by Oscar Academy. Every year, the festival trophy is presented to a short film selected by the jury in the contest section.

Animest Festival plays an important role for the domestic filmmakers of Romania in the animation field. The goal of the festival is to revive and support Romanian animation.

Animest International Festival is the only animation festival in Romania started in 2006. The 14th edition of the festival is going to be held from Oct 4 upto Oct 13, 2019.
